Dedication, that's what you need

The more observant of you (is there anybody out there?) will have noted the irony that I am much more dedicated in my blogging than I clearly am in my actual running training. Well, everyone needs a hobby. And mine is clearly writing things, not any form of actual physical exercise (which I believe is where this whole thing started 2 years ago).

Progress was made in that last weekend I wore heels out or the first time since I broke my foot. How, I hear you cry, is that actually helping with any RUNNING? The thing is, I respond, it's actually quite a big deal because my foot was well enough to cope with something more than walking very slowly in trainers. Ergo my foot is getting better, which means, ultimately I'm a few steps (no pun intended) closer to THINKING about doing some training ;)

So what HAVE I done? Errrrr...I've had Special K for breakfast 3 times this week. And eaten an apple twice. Don't laugh, that's progress on constant sausage sandwiches and chocolate swiss roll. And yes I realise what I said there, and no, I didn't eat the same apple twice, the implication of that is gross and shame on you for thinking it.
